According to the Secretary of Federal Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, tourism in Mexico has been privileged in spite of the changes that have occurred as a result of the pandemic. It is expected that by the end of 2021 Mexico will rank third in the world in terms of tourism.

The discussion of these topics took place in Cancun during the regional meeting «Economic Reactivation with Safe Tourism». The meeting was held in coordination with the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco).
