1. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?  

All active photographers and collaborators from any of the locations where PHOTOPRO is present can participate. 

In Mexico: Riviera Maya, Cancun, Los Cabos and Punta Mita. 
In the Caribbean: Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Grenada y Saint Lucia.

2. PARTICIPATION METHOD

Represent through a short video your experience and/or passion of work at Photopro. 

To participate in this contest you must download and fill out the registration form accepting the terms and conditions described therein.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 videos, choosing from the three available categories.

Each participant may enter a maximum of 2 videos in the same category.

3. CATEGORIES OF THE VIDEOS

 There are 3 categories to participate: 

1. My passion (Individual): A video made individually to represent, according to your judgment, the most fun side of working at Photopro. The intention is to show the reality of what you live day by day and the passion you bring to your work.
   Use all your creativity to show what you are truly passionate about in your work. 
2. Our Passion (Team): A team video with a maximum of 4 members, to transmit your passion as a team when working at Photopro.
   Combine your ideas and participate to show what you like most about working as photographers at Photopro.
3. My experience (Individual): A personal testimony of your personal experience of working at Photopro, sharing your memories and transcendent experiences. This category only accepts videos made individually. 

4. STYLE

For all categories the style to show is up to you, remember to use all your creativity and imagination to do it. 

We would like to share with you some ideas that may help you as an example to create your video, use them wisely and represent them with your own words…

– Funny moments


Ask to a colleague to record you doing the activity you enjoy the most, or ask them to do it with you; jump, sing, dance, laugh, swim, make a compilation of everything.

Talk in front of the camera (use a tripod, selfie stick or ask a partner for help). You decide how to capture it!

 5. VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

• The submission of the material must be in horizontal format MANDATORY in any of the 3 categories.
• The duration of the video must be a minimum of 45 seconds and may not exceed 90 seconds. 
• Video format: MP4, M4V, MPG, WMV, FLV, AVI, MOV 
• Minimum quality required: (16:9) 1080p. 30fps. (You can adjust it in the resolution section of your cell phone’s video settings). 
• The phrase «Join our team!» must be mentioned anywhere in the video (individual or team) 
• The individual video(s) must start by mentioning the following two points:
  – My name is… [Mention your first name (without last name)].
  – I’m from… [State of origin and country]. 
• The videos must be made with your own audiovisual material. They can be used from a third party if the copyrights have been assigned. (See terms and conditions)
• In case they exist, third party copyrights and licenses of use must be notified and attached in the delivery mail.

6.SUBMISSION OF PARTICIPATION AND VIDEO ADMISSION 

1.- The videos will be sent to the e-mail address dgrafico@photopro.mx through the free online sending service WeTransfer.

-Individual participation: In the title of the message must appear the category in which you are participating, the name of the participant and the text «Winter 2022 Contest».


Example: 

My passion_Jorge Rosas_Winter 2022 Contest.
My experience_Jimena Juarez_Winter 2022 Contest.

-Team participation: in the title of the message should appear the category in which you are participating, the name of the team and the text «Winter 2022 Contest».

Example: 

Our Passion_TeamRiu4Ever_Winter 2022 Contest. 

If you decide to participate with several videos, it is necessary to send them individually, that is to say, one email for each participating video. 

In any case, you must attach the registration form filled out and signed with name and last name (if you participate as a team, you must specify the name and last name of each of the 4 members of your team as well as their respective signature). 

2.- If the video satisfies the requirements of the contest, it will be validated and the participant(s) will be notified to the e-mail address from which the submission was received. 

7. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF VIDEOS

The reception of videos begins from Monday, FEBRUARY 21 to Sunday, MARCH 13, 2022 at 23:59 hours. 

All videos received after the deadline will not be considered for the contest.

8. PRIZES

These are the established prizes for each category:

– My Passion Category Prize (individual): An original Ray-Ban glasses. 

According to the existence, the winner will be able to choose the model of glasses that he/she likes the most without any price restriction in the Sun glass chic or Fini store of the resort

 – Our Passion Category Prize (Max. 4 people): 

 An original Michael Kors* or Skagen Denmark* brand Watch for each member. *Selected models

– My Experience Prize (individual): An original Ray-Ban glasses. 

According to the existence, the winner will be able to choose the model of glasses that he/she likes the most without any price restriction in the Sun glass chic or Fini store of the resort

The jury’s decision will be announced on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 13:00 hours. 

After the announcement the organizers will contact the winners to give them instructions on how to collect their prize. 

9. THE JURY AND JUDGING ELEMENTS

The winners will be chosen by a jury made up of organizers and directors. 

In their decision they will value creativity as well as the author’s ability and uniqueness to convey his or her personal opinion.


Copied videos or videos that are very similar to each other will not be admitted, the jury will determine the originality of the video for the purpose of this dynamic. 

10. PERMISSIONS, RESPONSIBILITY, AUTHORSHIP AND OWNERSHIP OF THE VIDEOS

It is important that you read the terms and conditions found in the registration form, so that you take into account the necessary elements to avoid any malpractice in the use of images, intellectual property, transfer of rights and details about the creation of videos and participation in the contest Photoprolovers Challenge
